Updated COVID procedures
Sue Scott

The Indiana Department of Health has made additional changes to COVID-19 protocols and control measures. The state is no longer requiring schools to report positive cases to the dashboard, contact trace, or quarantine students, regardless of mask use in schools or vaccination status. Effective immediately, the TSC will no longer contact trace and quarantine close contacts of positive cases in our schools.

**The CDC no longer requires masks to be worn on school buses. Therefore, starting February 28 masks will be optional on all TSC school buses.

With the help of our families, our schools will monitor any known positive cases and consult with the local health department if we experience an unusually large number of COVID-related absences.

It is important for everyone to monitor for COVID symptoms and keep sick students home. Families are asked to notify the school of positive cases and follow the recommended isolation period.
