Klondike Elementary Third Graders have displayed their annual Wall of Honor to recognize family, friends, and even some Nuggets from the past for their service to the military.  Teachers are invited to bring their class to the wall and talk about the different branches and look for names of their loved ones. 

During the week, many classrooms have learned about the military and why Veterans Day is important.  Mrs. McKinnis has been teaching the students patriotic songs in her Music classes.  Mrs. Bruce's Read to Succeed volunteer, Mr. Tom, even came to their class dressed in his old uniform.  One of her students even shared, "You need to say, 'Thank you for your service'.
